Paypal Current Exchange Rates-Withdrawal to India

Paypal allows localized withdrawals to almost all the countries of the world. Knowing exact exchange rate is the point of matter. If You have money in your paypal account and you are looking to withdraw it to your local bank account in india then this post is good for you. However paypal has its own currency converter available at its own website but remember that paypal exchange rates are always lower than the wholesale exchange rates day today life.

Paypal use retail exchange rates for the transactions involving currency conversion.Suppose current exchange rates of USD to INR is 52.71 then paypal exchange rates for USD to INR will be near about INR 51 per USD.   • Login to your Paypal Account.

  • Click on  withdraw Tab.

  • Click Withdraw to bank Account

  • Enter Amount and  select bank account from drop down menu.

  • Initiate the withdraw and you will see exact amount in INR you are going to get in your bank account.


NOTE: withdrawal to bank account in india takes about 5-7 days excluding saturday and sunday.

    Thanks for sharing with us this useful information about paypal. Money matters are always the hardest part of my holidays abroad. Buying foreign currency is always such an expensive exercise in fees.It should be simple, but it isn't. At least for me :) Maybe you can give some wise advice for such people like me, as to the best way to get hold of foreign currency?
